Character breakdown meme: Kimber from Jem

How I feel about this character

Kimber doesn’t rank very high if I put the Holograms in order of “favorite character” (Aja, Raya, Shana, Kimber, Jem — if you’re curious), but I find her an interesting character.  She’s incredibly passionate about music, and I can respect that.  I don’t much care for her overall attitude, especially toward Jem getting “all the attention” and the rest of the bandmates “treating her like a baby” — though I can understand that she’s kind of a diva thwarted, as well as the youngest sister in the band, and all that informs her attitudes.  She’s a bit of a brat but it’s not her fault?

All the people I ship romantically with this character
Haha, I actually kind of don’t?  Nobody is like… an OTP with her.  She goes after quite a few guys in the course of the show and more power to her.

My non-romantic OTP for this character
Stormer!  (Mary Phillips) They are besties and no one can tell me different.  I do like reading them as a romantic couple, too, some writers can convince me, but I don’t write it myself.

My unpopular opinion about this character
…Not actually good at writing lyrics at all.  Music, yes — lyrics, no. I submit the lyrics of Dear Diary as proof. (To be fair, she scribbled these on a shoebox lid in the middle of the night whilst very emotional and angsty.  But I think someone else in the band does the lyrics.)

Also she should not end up with Jeff Wright (him getting in a fight with Max Conley over Kimber freaked me out) or Sean Harrison (I get the impression that he’s using her to get songs written — he knows that she’s smitten).

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.
Successful solo career during “The Day the Music Died” instead of getting folded into Pizzazz’s supergroup.
